Douglas Kidd is an actor known for his clever and devious onscreen presence and for playing characters who are wealthy. Kidd was born Douglas James Miller on May 11, 1963 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He was the third child of four, the second of three boys. His father, George Miller, is of Austrian descent, and his mother, Arlene (Guerard), has Scottish, Irish, Finnish and French ancestry. After graduating from Windsor Secondary School in 1981, Kidd accepted a wrestling scholarship at Simon Fraser University. Then in 1985, while completing a bachelor's degree in English Literature, he was inspired to audition for his university's acting program and was accepted on the spot. Soon after graduating in 1987 he began finding acting work, including roles in Top Cops (1992), Forever Knight (1995), Spenser: A Savage Place (1995) and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1995), which starred David Carradine. Recently, Kidd has enjoyed a recurring role as an FBI Agent in The Art of More (2015).
